    I tried to get a loan from MY bank, which I have been in excellent standings with for over 2 years! I have a 2001 RV that is in perfect condition, and wanted to put it up as collateral because I have NO credit and my husband has some medical bills on his, so I know we do not have the best credit, but I need my car fixed.     I have been banking with them for 4 years and it was my very first bank out of high school. I was doing well with them until I decided to start using another bank. It seemed that once I stopped using this bank as much due to the fact that I was slowly transitioning to the new bank I started getting OD fees and when I would deposit my card wouldn't work!     On 04/18/2015 went to FCB to deposit a check for $1500 $150 cash, employee at branch made a mistake and added cash with check.   • They love to charge fees for no reason!



    I have had the worst experience with them than I have with any other bank! First, when I signed up, they said that if I ever had any problem to go to the bank and the tellers can help. When I problem occurred I went in and they can no longer help me that I have to some 800 number, which I did and they couldn't help eithe they were so rude.     I deposited $1200 into my account, the teller said wait 5 mins and then I will be available. I waited five mins and then checked my account via the txt message service they offer, the money was there and available.     DO NOT use this bank !!!! I deposited $1200 dollars, they told me to give iut 5 mins and then it would be available. I waited 5 mins and then checked my account via online services and txt message updates. They both showed the money to be available.     First Inconvenient Bank I'm an EMPLOYEE! I deposited my husbands check into our joint acct on September 5th 2014 and had them memo post it so it would be available ASAP ..     This is the worst bank one could choose to bank with. The policies and overdraft fees are beyond redicoulous. I wouldn't recommend this bank to my worst enimi. One could go from 100 in overdraft to almost 700 because of overdraft fees. That's how they get your money.     It has to say something about a company when there are this many compalints about a company regarding similar situations. This bank has no business ethics. They charge overdraft fees for pending transactions. Not only that but apparently they go by what they see in their system and not what my online bank says. The money in my account is mine until the merchant claims it. I went to one store, then had to go to another store because I couldn't believe it the first time. No one there knew how to do online banking!?! That's what I was told.     I deposited 500$ on friday, but realized I didn't have enough so went back and deposited a little more, and I asked the lady that deposited my money if it was good to use. Of course she said yes.     All I see is a lot of whining and complaining about fees. Solution: Grow up and take care of your financial matters.     My daughter just moved to Texas from Missouri and can't change her bank account until some auto debits go through so she was using their ATM machine to get $200 out of her account.(He disability check had just gone in there so we know the money was there)The machine did not give her the money.     I have three small auto payments which come out of my bank account, one payday the company I work for did not receive my time card from supervisor and I wasn't paid. I let the bank know the problem and paycheck would be coming in less then a week. I spent no money other the the three small amounts of auto drafts, until check got to bank.     This 111 year old bank is apperently having some growing pains. I had one incident when my debit card was not cancelled although I had reported lost. Some charges came through and before it was over, overdraft fees added up to $200.00 . I called in a claim and that department was rude as most dectives can be.     This is the WORST bank I have ever banked at. I will be closing my account today. If their NSF policy is not illegal, it SHOULD be. So, BEWARE. If your available balance (not ACTUAL balance) is negative even one dollar, they will charge you up to six NSF fees per day for five days for every single transaction that comes through.     This is a bad bank... manager never are available, if you have any trouble you have to talk with inexperinced tellers. They never know what are you talking about... They goes to the inside room each time that you make a question to ask someone there, but they never comes out to talk with customer face to face.     I was in your bank on 10/2/11 at 3:45p. There was one teller helping two people open an acct. A line formed and three people were waiting to be served for quite awhile. The teller at work was Stephanie and she has always been very helpful. She apologized for the wait a couple of times. Me and the others waiting saw two people come into the side door of the bank and walk to the back area and close the door.     I go to the bank ritually only 3 times a month taking out the exact amount each time. I never get more than my direct deposit in fact I only take out half of what was deposited.     I have opened up an account and I have friends told me about this bank that they ripped their customers off from their customers. They can't take care their customer very will. For an example once you deposit a check they hold that check for 4 to 5 days then they decided to deposit and post it to your account. Fcb...hmmm....asap we are changing banks. I know for a fact that their staff will answer your questions with whatever pops into their head. 99% of the time the information they give you is erroneous. Their misinformation has caused us great harm and extreme anguish!!! Plus many thousands of dollars. I say beware of utilizing the services of this BANK. Personnel is very poorly trained, people skills almost nonexistent.

Best bank ever I have been reading most of these surveys and its ridiculous how people just complain if you would keep up with your account and not use money you dont have you wouldn't get any fees I have banked here for over 2 years never ever have I received an over draft charge and I have direct deposit with them and it always comes in a day ahead the manager there is a very good listener and he has the best customer service I have ever experienced. The people there are great and I dont see how people can be talking about them like that its not true. Get over yourselfs and start doing your banking CORRECTLY because I dont know what fees your talking abouy because I haveny recieved not a one they told me it would be free and it has been.

Everyone complains about the fees every bank has fee's. Learn to manage your account well and you wont get over draft fee's.the bank places holds on checks to protect the costumer and the bank if that check returns the bank loses money cuz the costumer is not gonna wanna pay then the costumer looks bad cuz he brought in a bad check all that goes on your record. I have three accounts been with the bank over a year I have no problems with them but cuz I know how to budget my money.

1st Convenience Bank in Rockwall, Texas off I30 inside the Walmart. Not only was I given 1 but 3 courtesy overdrafts credits back onto my account. It depends on how you approach the situation. The tellers there are great.

I cannot agree more with the other ppl!! This bank tries to find any reason to charge you overdraft fees! I canceled my overdraft protection and they are still hitting me with outrageous fees. $5 or more to withdraw from a different atm when there is only one within a 50 mile radius!! It really upsets me to see I am not alone that this bank could careless about customers and care more about ripping ppl off!

So my husband and I opened a joint account we had 3 dollars in our account for about 3 days and on that Friday I went to deposit his check they deposited it and I checked my balance with my card my card said it was expired so I went back to the bank and asked why it said that my account had been closed internally and that corporate was closed so they couldn't tell me why and I asked how did.you deposit my check if the account was already closedand so they said the teller didn't realize it was closed but I asked well where is my money they said I would have the check and a letter in the mail. Well I talked to another branch they couldn't tell me nothing either tried.to get me t.open another account. Then I called corporate they said I had t taalk to a branch manager and I'm married they hard my maiden name on my account now I didn't open the aaccount with my maiden name. So them my husband called a account problem lady her names on their web site her number is their he called they said she wouldn't be in till 9 so he called back at 9 and they said the have never heard of any one by that name that our check wasmailed out Monday 3 days after they said it had been mailed and said that also when our account was closed. The money we deposited was our bill money our lights got shut off because we didn't have thy money. We have 4 children from 1-6 years of age. My husband had to miss work because we didn't have our has moneyto get him t work. We still have not received a check and its a week later never use this bank my.brother is closing his account now and moving to a different bank for all my reasons and the bank keeps taking money from hos savings account and moving to his checking account

THIS IS THE WORST BANK I'VE EVER HAD!!! I'd do better getting a prepaid Rush card from Russell and Kimora Simmons. Just this week they HELD my transactions from September 13, 2011 on as "pending." They FINALLY went through on September 25th and I thought all was fine and well. I'd been balancing my account, checking online AND the automated system to keep me updated. I checked the automated system September 26th and was negative -176.71!!! For what reason? I'll never know becuase the idiot customer service gal talked in circles and pretty much said "I dont know. It says on here you HAD the money, but now you don't." NO crap, Sherlock! Where'd it go????? Nevermind I'd made THREE deposits, AND had my direct deposit added to the balance so there was MORE than enough money on that card for those transactions. It's now 9/29/11 and I am at -$341 and counting. I'm NOT paying this stuff until THEY sit down with me and MAKE me understand how they FEEL I didn't have money that WAS IN THE ACCOUNT. This bank is HORRIBLE. I'm going to apply for my Rush card now.

I am currently with FCB,and I must say that I have not been happier,I was once with BOFA and from previous reviews that I have read,that is nothing compared to BOFA,but to stay on topic,I was once with FCB when I went off to school but took them for granted when they allowed you to overdraft on your account.But I am now back with them and they make sure to take good care of their customers.1)Ilike the fact that I get my check a day early 2) I was had an overdraft charge of 90+ dollars,but I made a transaction when I did not have funds in my acccount so I was aware that I would be charge one,so when I called and discussed the issue they apologized and explain kindly that the transaction are posted from largest to smallest also reimbursing me for the other overdraft fee. And last but not least 3) they allow you to borrow funds from them only charging one overdraft fee other then taking out Pay Day Loans having you spend large amounts of money to pay them back on top of the refinance fee..So in my opinion FCB is absolutely the best bank I have ever had,and like I stated early try BofA,im sure you will definitely come back!!!

I am currently with FCB,and I must say that I have not been happier,I was once with BOFA and from previous reviews that I have read,that is nothing compared to BOFA,but to stay on topic,I was once with FCB when I went off to school but took them for granted when they allowed you to overdraft on your account.But I am now back with them and they make sure to take good care of their customers.1)Ilike the fact that I get my check a day early 2) I was had an overdraft charge of 90+ dollars,but I made a transaction when I did not have funds in my acccount so I was aware that I would be charge one,so when I called and discussed the issue they apologized and explain kindly that the transaction are posted from largest to smallest also reimbursing me for the other overdraft fee. And last but not least 3) they allow you to borrow funds from them only charging one overdraft fee other then taking out Pay Day Loans having you spend large amounts of money to pay them back on top of the refinance fee..So in my opinion FCB is absolutely the best bank I have ever had,and like I stated early try BofA,im sure you will definitely come back!!!

On Nov. 23th 2010 I have closed my account I have checked to see if they close in 3 or 4 days later they haven't closed my account completely. Plus when you deposit a check they hold the check for 3 to 4 days then they post it on the account. So I would like to tell everyone if you decide to open an account with these crooks "Don't" they lie and trap you after you open an account with this bank.

FRAUDULENT CHARGES. I had money in my bank, and my phone company pinged my account once to see if I had the funds, then of course went through with the funds. My bank counted this as TWO charges (the ping never even showed up in my account or on my statement) and charged me an overdraft fee, then charged me overdraft fees on every single bill I payed after that that I technically had the money for. I ended up with $300 in overdraft charges for NO REASON. I went to my bank and they refunded $100, then said they'd have to talk to some manager to refund the rest but it would be done. Two weeks later and NO REFUND. They are lying scum who prey on people with bad credit. DO NOT USE FOR ANY REASON. YOU WILL GET OVERDRAFTED.

I would like to say that First Convenience Bank AKA First National Bank has a financial program that they follow which is set on the ideal of stealing money from its depositors any way that can figure out how. This bank is by far the worst bank I have ever had the misfortune of being a member of. This bank has stolen money in various ways from me and numerous other depositors, on way more than one occasion. I will be closing my account as soon as I can get my new one set up and get my direct deposit to be sent to my new bank. If you read the reviews from the people who have had experince with this bank you should pay attention to the amout of negetive reviews versus positive it tells a story in its self.

The worst bank I have ever dealt with. Two years ago I was advised that I could close my account with no penalty, by the branch manager.
After doing so, for two months I was charged for closing my business account early. Rude staff. They sure were "nice" at first. Now my fiance is going through a mess. Somebody at an atm withdrew money from his account a few days ago. Funny thing is, we were at home relaxing on his day off, and he had his debit card in his wallet when this occured. Will find something out soon I hope.
